About Me:
Bill McDonald started with 1st Security Bank in March of 2019 and brings with him over 30 years’ experience as a Loan Officer. Bill prides himself with always putting his clients’ best interest first and is proud to say that his return client ratio is very high. In fact, he is now working with a second generation of clients – the sons and daughters of his current and past clients.
Bill specializes in Construction and Renovation financing, in addition to FHA, VA and Conventional loan programs. Construction and Renovation programs are highly specialized loans that take an integral knowledge of costing, permitting and the organizational flow of the construction process.
On a personal note, Bill has two children. Nick, a Former US Marine is employed with Boeing as an Airplane Mechanic and his daughter, Alaina, has graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Psychology and Law. In Bill’s free time he enjoys biking, hiking, running, and is a professional boxing coach and manager. Boxing has been a part of Bill’s life since his youth and he was a Three-State Regional Boxing Champion in the early 1980’s. Bill uses the same determination he demonstrated in the boxing ring when working for his clients. He makes sure timelines are met and all parties involved are satisfied.
