With over three decades of experience as a loan officer, Barb Huber has established herself as one of the top producers wherever she has worked.
At 1st Security Bank Home Lending, she joins a group of former Golf Savings Bank (later Sterling Bank) fellow employees, creating a formidable mortgage team.
“I wanted to reunite with the team of experienced mortgage professionals that I have worked with since my Golf Savings Bank days, as we all share the same commitment of excellence to our customers,” Barb explained. “I am so happy to be back among this group.”
Barb joined 1st Security in 2012, coming from Sterling, where she started in 2000 when it was Golf Savings Bank. She was with Continental Savings Bank, now HomeStreet, for nearly 24 years prior to that.
She has been a consistent, top-level producer wherever she has been, so recognized with membership in Chairman and President Clubs, honoring loan officers for their superb efforts.
Born in the small town of Sawyer, North Dakota, Barb moved to Lynnwood in the third grade and has remained a resident North Seattle. She lives in Bothell with her husband and daughter, as well as a dog, cat and chickens on their two-acre home. The couple also has two adult sons and one granddaughter.
Working from the bank’s home lending headquarters in Mountlake Terrace, Barb is delighted to be with 1st Security Bank, appreciating its team-oriented culture and community-first values.
Her familiarity and experience with all loan products, including Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA Jumbo and first-time home buyer money, coupled with the bank’s fast-closing process, creates a winning experience for her clients.
